Those who are vaccinated would be able to spontaneously sit down in the restaurant and participate in events without testing. This regulation will be decided on Monday, 3 May 2021. This information has been published by heute.at today, Wednesday.
Regarding the relaxations on May 19, there were still some uncertainties. These are mainly based on still somewhat questionable data, how contagious vaccinated people actually are. Now, however, it should be fixed: In gastronomy and the like, vaccinated people will be treated the same as those who have been tested.
Thus they save time to go to the test road or the gargling in the living room and can sit down at any time – also spontaneously – in the Schanigarten. A resolution to this effect is to be passed on Monday in the parliament.
Already ex-health minister Anschober tried in its office time to bring through this regulation. But it failed at the “Ok” of the Bundesrat. SPÖ, FPÖ and NEOS blocked, because they did not want to agree to the entry tests in the trade. This would have meant that the regulation could not have come into force until a good week after the relaxations.
The passage on equal treatment of vaccinated and tested persons has now been removed. The SPÖ therefore no longer has any reservations and will approve it – also in the Bundesrat. A similar measure had already been announced shortly before in Münich, Germany.
